Best girlfriends Maggie and Kix. Kix loves laying at the french doors, despite the cushy beds and couches. Strange.

We decided to take advantage of the summer sales on outdoor furniture last weekend. We purchased what I call a "Mosquito Gazebo" and a conversation set. The sum of the boxes said it would take us about 3 hours to put everything together. Well, 6 hours later I was cranky and hungry. There was sun when we started and it was dark when we ended. What is even funnier is that they give you these tiny hand wrenches and that is what they base their calculations on. We obviously use "real" tools to put it together. Maybe what they aren't telling you is that their is an assumption that the whole neighborhood is going to be your work team. Anyhow, here are pictures of our lovely purchase. We can actually sit outside without being eaten alive by blood suckers.
Did any of you watch the show The Great American Dog that debuted this week? My Aunt Maureen who is a dog trainer tried out for the show and got to the final cuts with her dog Willie. They didn't make it because he has some serious allergy health issues and can't eat any foods other than his restricted diet and is not supposed to share water bowls with other dogs, etc. So while she was bummed it was probably for the best of the show and the health of Willie. Here is a picture of Willie modeling for a dog clothes company (this picture was taken in a PetSmart last winter). All her dogs are involved in various activities like modeling, acting, agility, etc. Willie is the brown boston terrier on the right. One of my aunts dogs, who has since passed away, is the black & white boston terrier in the movie Eight Legged Freaks.

I am a sucker for those shows..so yes I watched it. Reminds me of Groomer Has It that just ended on Animal Planet a few weeks ago.
Like your new furniture and mosquito net!
Three big dogs peeing can kill alot of grass. Good thing we've getting pretty good rain lately. I went to go check on my garden for a couple minutes and got bit like crazy. Mosquito netting sounds like a great idea.
